We have seen the on-chain movement become more and more of an important idea as we go forward in this wild west of NFTs and we are enjoying learning together with everyone. 💻 On-Chain SVG Tutorial
Eto Vass, creator of Alien Runes, has written a detailed tutorial for creating on-chain SVG artwork. This initial tutorial goes through setting up a development environment with NodeJS and Foundry, then walks through the process of creating generative art in the form of simple shapes and uses his awesome Hot Reload tool. I have gone through the full tutorial and I can say the developer experience is pretty nice, especially with Typescript support. The next upcoming parts will will cover creating NFTs out of these generative SVGs and creating a minting website! If you find this interesting consider supporting Eto by minting some Alien Runes. It will help future development of on-chain tools such as Hot Reload as well as more informational resources such as this tutorial. Plus they look really good!
