Yo! What’s up! Welcome to issue #11 of the Fully On Chain newsletter. It’s been a few weeks since the last issue. I was taking a bit of a break and trying not to get stressed out with IRL work and bull market activities, aka meme coin szn. But the newsletter is back and I’m energized to keep spreading more on-chain goodness! Let’s get it!

Cypherdudes
Dude, Cypherdudes is a pretty gnarly project. Created by FelixFelixFelix, Cypherdudes is a generative art project that takes inspiration from the Cypherpunk movement, which has been campaigning for the protection of privacy on the internet since the early 90s and was behind the creation of Bitcoin in 2008. It’s a personification of crypto culture. There are some fun hidden features to this project as well. (Still minting btw)
Fearful Symmetry
Fearful Symmetry displays beautiful 3D-based fractal shapes in an animated canvas. Each piece slowly evolves and changes over time which gives a sense of calmness in a very meditative way. Seeing them animate is simply stunning.
On-Chain Architecture
There is beauty in minimalism. On-Chain Architecture takes the constraints of on-chain art and creates an eight-piece collection of elegant structures in a one-point perspective composition. @janne_limited is one to watch out for.

MOMA “on-chain” term
The Museum of Modern Art has recently acknowledged the term “On-chain art” in their dictionary of art terms. This is another big step in the legitimacy of this art form we love. Thanks to MRC Arte for spotting this!
Efficax Nouns Proposal
0xdiid has successfully passed his proposal to the Nouns community to help fund the next iteration of Efficax. The funds will help expand the scope of Efficax which includes, a rebranding of the site, on-chain licensing attestation, building for interoperability, an open database of on-chain works and more…
Autoglyph Set Sale
A few weeks ago a full set of ten Autoglyphs sold for a whopping 5,000 ETH. This private sale marked one of the largest NFT art sales ever recorded on chain. Tell me we're back without telling me we're back! Check on the story on nft now.
OnChainChecker Dev Mode
Tokenfox has been hard at work adding new features to OnChainChecker and the latest dev mode is very exciting. It allows you to manipulate artwork in real-time. It’s an editor that allows users to change parameters and code to instantaneously see new artwork.
The Emergence of Base
We are seeing the start of some action on the Base side of things. I love that they support on-chain art and promote the community. I don’t normally like to talk about art prices, but if you grabbed some Base projects we featured like tiny based frogs, or OnChain Dinos you would be sitting pretty right now.

I have been following musical artist Angel Baby for a while now so it was very exciting to see that they have teased some sort of on-chain music project coming soon. I don’t have any additional details, but my rabbit ears perk up any time I hear “on-chain” 👀👂

Josh Davis on Embracing the Medium
When it comes to on-chain art, like generative art, we need to embrace it's limitations as a medium. We are literally tricking a system design for finance to store and display art. Josh Davis' thread beautifully quotes Ayn Rand on why "what can be done with one substance must never be done with another".
