OnChainMonkey is founded by industry veterans Danny Yang (@huuep), Amanda Terry (@amandaterry) and Bill Tai (@KiteVC). Together they run Metagood, who’s mission is to empower communities to be catalysts for positive collection action.

Mint
OnChainMonkey Genesis was a stealth and free mint with a total token supply amount of 10k. It is the first on-chain pfp collection created in one transaction, costing only 0.798Ξ to deploy the contract. Traits vary from earrings, eyes, furs, hats, and mouths but aside from the cute and simplistic on chain artwork that’s only a portion of what makes this little monkey pfp so impactful.
Metagood
Metagood was awarded Fast Company’s 20 Best World Changing Ideas for Impact Investing and one of 8 finalists in the Coindesk x Extreme Tech Challenge Web3 competition. A competition that only a few have the privilege to say they competed in. The OnChainMonkeys team puts community first but in the same breath understands that this space is bigger than just them. Knowing the impact NFT’s have globally this is something we can rock with.
DAO
The team is also putting their connections to good use through the OCM DAO, which funds promising projects that help build the OCM community and brand. The DAO is governed by those who own OCM and 50% of trading revenues go to the DAO treasury. The funds raised by the community are then put back into the community to help fund projects and other ventures that help better the space.
Desserts
OCM desserts are 10,000 desserts which include Incredible Ice Pops, Divine Donuts, and Celestial Cakes. The rarest of which have been sold for 50-80 ETH! OCM Desserts can be used to create an OCM Karma. Each dessert that is eaten (burned) is reduced from the circulating supply. It would also be remiss not to mention that the OCM Desserts are 100% fully on-chain!! These desserts will stand the test of time!
Karma
Karma is a variation of OnChainMonkey that displays a more zestful artwork. To claim a Karma, you can either buy a Genesis and feed it a Dessert to get Karma or you can directly buy a Karma. Karma was created by the Hollywood animation team behind Ice Age, Rio, and Ferdinand
Utility
OCMs have unique utilities which include DAO access, OCM missions and Monkey Backstories!
Take your OCM on a mission to gain experience and earn a variety of rewards, which include NFT parts, reward crates, and even OCM Karma NFTs. Backstories are personalized backgrounds and lore you can create for your monkeys!
Genesis and Karma NFTs will provide membership into the OnChainMonkey community, governance of the DAO, participation in community projects, in real life events, and the banana token rewards and economy.
Banana Token
Banana Tokens are the currency of the OCM Monkeyverse and community. Bananas are off-chain and can be earned if you connect your wallet to OnChainMonkey.com. Bananas can be used to redeem merchandise, IRL events, poker, and even traded for NFTs! 🍌
Being innovative is good, and giving your community the outlet to create and be part of history is great. Our favorite thing about OnChainMonkey is their drive to want to use NFTs and community to incentivize doing good!
